The first beach past the walkable ones, reached on a path around the headland. Small, rocky at the edges, and a proper break from the town.

Prainha is the first beach that asks something of you. The path around the headland past Ribeira is short but it is a path rather than a pavement, and on the other side of it the town noise stops entirely.

It is small, framed by rock, and it works best as the far end of a morning walking south rather than as a destination in itself. Take water. There is nothing here.
