The beach right at the town, by the harbour and the river mouth. Not for swimming so much as for being where the town meets the water.

Coroinha is the beach the town actually sits on, by the harbour and the mouth of the river. It is not the beach anybody photographs and it is not really a swimming beach either, because this is where boats come and go and where the river does its work.

What it is good for is the thing no other beach here offers: watching Itacaré be a fishing town. Boats land, the market operates, and the whole business of a working harbour goes on a few steps from where you are eating.
